The trouble with MP3s...
...is that every web host wants to avoid them like the plague. Maybe they are afraid of legal entanglements. Maybe they don't like the space that's supposed to be used to put a site being used for storage. But they ALL seem to put really strict caps on file sizes, except for my ISP which gives me only a tiny amount of space to work with. Ironically, Geocities is the only host that I have been able to FTP mp3s to. And even then it gives people a hard time when they try linking to them. Is there any real way to post them without registering a domain?

most places have 10meg caps on files...
if your mp3 is bigger you have a few options.

1. re-encode it to a lower quality mp3 (->takes less space)
2. Split the file up using some sort of splitting program. (WinZip has one included, but it rquires you to mess around with disks)

I think there are some special free hosts that give you better conditions, but they are not open to everybody. (org. that give space for say religious material.)
