Music in Heroes...
I imagine it may get boring after a while but I got a perfect cure for that. Is there a chance that any of you heard about a band called Delerium?

No? I thought so. Well, their music may be classified as ambient and I found it to be a great substitute for the original heroes music. I have two records of Delerium: "Morpheus" and "Karma". The first one has great themes for evil towns while the second is a good source for good and neutral town themes. I also found "Gladiator" O.S.T. to have some great battle themes.

Apart from Heroes, Delerium has very good music for background for RPG sessions.

Any of you have done any HoMM3 music experiments?

Since my tastes in music....
Range from Heavy Metal to harder Alternative.... (such a wide scope, I know), I can only say that the slower, heavier stuff seems to work for me.... to be specific... hmmm.... Marilyn Manson for one. *wicked smile*

Ambient is really slow music...
...though I can't say it's hard. Spooky is the word. I used the above mentioned "Morpheus" record to scare my players on an RPG session... worked *grin*

Interesting...
Not me...I kinda like the music. And when I get sick of it I just turn it off. :) Of course, I'm almost always watching TV while I'm playing, so the music doesn't really matter to me...
