THE "BEATS AND PIECES" CONTEST...
Before I present the rules I need to tell a story :). There is a song I like very much. It was produced in 1996 and therefore hard to get. I spent weeks on Napster trying to find something more than a 3 minute radio version. And so I did - I've found the extended club version but as a part of a mixed compilation (meaning it hasn't got the beginning nor the ending). I also found the extended club version as a whole but managed to download only 25% :( Being a resourceful beast and wanting to have the extended version of the song, I stockpiled all I've got (the radio edit, the club mix from the compilation and the beginning of the club mix) and tried to "construct" the song. So what I did was cut all I've had into pieces and connected them into one song. And here's where the contest starts.
To attend you need to download the song:
JT Playaz - Just Playin'
Then listen to it and post a review under this thread.
As I mentioned above the song that is in the zip is made of pieces of the three versions of "Just Playin'" I managed to download. There are 5 pieces. You are to determine where these pieces meet. To attend the contest you need to send me an e-mail containing four times, in which you think the pieces meet (for example 00:54, 01:14, 05:55, 07:17) +- 3 seconds). The person closest to the right answer will be the winner. I've included the radio edit in the zip file - a great help for ones that will figure out how to use it. :)
And the prize: The winner will receive an mp3 CD with 3 albums of Delerium - "Karma (2CD)", "Faces, Forms And Illusions" and "Morpheus" and their single "Silence". I may fill the remaining CD space with some other mp3s.
So good luck. I realise this contest is an unusual, so if there's anything you don't understand, ask away.
