Planet Perfecto, Vaiio, Circulation, Eating women and stuff
Bites the Dust: is ok, nothing fabulous and not even a improvement of the original but still beats a lot of other songs out there... but it's Bullet in the Gun that's got my ear for the moment.

When have you heard it? I heard that tune in November 1999. And have to agree it's good, even though it sounds like old dance records. Don't remember if it made it into my chart, but probably not (probably it took me too long to like it). Any good remixes?

Rapture: Yep, Deep Dish is the best and the original isn't that bad either, can't wait to hear it used by one of the good DJs in a set.

If you have a 192kbps unmixed original, I'd be grateful if you upped it to my locker.

Colours: Thanks for the tip, I'll look around.

My favourites are Beige (203), Magenta (111), Lemon (206) Orange (207) and Turquoise (106) (in that order)

203 means cd 2, track 3, 111 - cd 1, track 11 etc.

Eat Her: Thanks bundles, I'll get to that right now.

No problem. Btw, is that a sample from a track from the Gladiator soundtrack?

How long is the original?
I have a version of Bullet on a CD that isn't labeled as a remix... it's 3:17 so I'm guessing it's a radio edit of some kind...

Re: How long is the original?
8:36, I think. Dubs are usually the same length as the local versions. I'll search for the 3:17 version on Audiogalaxy and let you know if it's the original.

And btw, I checked, Cass & Slide sampled from "Gladiator" (or "Gladiateher" to be precise ;)

I could rip you my version...
and up it to your locker.

"Gladiateher", *chuckles*, should have figured that one.

Sarah: Downloading Fear and Plenty as I'm typing this, the originals were nothing special. I'll have to check how good Hybrid and Fade versions are.

Re: I could rip you my version...
I downloaded the original of "Plenty" and same as with "Sweet Surrender" it was saved by the remixers. Sarah has a great voice but it gets somewhat lost in the original versions. And save yourself the trouble of downloading Rabbit In The Moon's Lunasol Remix of "Fear". Hybrid's however is very good. And as for "Plenty", Fade are the ones behind the Sanctuary Mix of "Silence" (doesn't that say it all? :)

Bullet: I'll ICQ you the current password for my locker.

Perception: Great track, a rareness in the latest trance releases, the vocals are a bit cheesy but there must be a dub out there ;)

Re: I could rip you my version...
Finally found a dub of "Perception". Sounds much better than the vocal mix.

What about that Planet Perfecto edit?

Oh, Norweigan...
Not that big a differance then. And nothing hard about pronouncing Röyksopp IMO.

Re: Oh, Norweigan...
They were saying that their names are unpronouncable, not the name of the band. I would, however, like to be enlightened about the pronunciation of Röyksopp :)

It's hard to explain..
but I don't find anything about their names strange.

And the members names are Torbjřrn Brundtland and Svein Berge, nothing hard about those either IMO.

That's probably cos you're familiar with...
Nordic languages. Nevermind, I just quoted the damned magazine ;)

And I downloaded Planet Perfecto - Bullet In The Gun 2000 (Club Mix) - 10:10 @ 192kbps and it's ok, though the original is better. I can't find the original vocal version, all I got is a 8:36 dub. Heard the original btw?

Cass & Slide is up...
and as for Röyksopp, I've heard of them but can't say I've heard any of their music. I think they're from Iceland. And I think the name means "Smokefungus" or something similar.

Röyksopp...

...
Bullet: The 2k version I have is 10:04, Rabbit in the Moon mix is 6:58 (but it's not all that good)

Perception: I have a 192 of the vocal mix if you want it.

Re: ...
If it's 10:04 it might be the Solar Stone 2000 Remix. I have 30+ % of it downloaded (@ 192kbps).

As for "Perception", could you up it to my locker?

...
Bullet: The version of Bullet in the gun I have is labeled as being made 2000, I have it @160k. Want it?

Rapture: Have a 192 of the Deep Dish, but only a 128 of the original, I'll look around tho.

Colours: Haven't found it yet, I'll keep looking.

Eat: Dunno about samples, haven't heard the Gladiator Soundtrack, but it's a good track. Up there with "Perception".

Re: ...

I have a few versions in my audiogalaxy queue. Downloaded one yesterday - 8:36, 192kbps. It appears to be a dub of the original. I'm searching for the original with vocals.

Rapture: Have a 192 of the Deep Dish, but only a 128 of the original, I'll look around tho.

I'll look around audiogalaxy, there must be a 192kbps vrs somewhere.

Colours: Haven't found it yet, I'll keep looking.

I got all tracks from audiogalaxy. I put "circulation ###" in the search field to find them, where ### is the number "formatted" as I said in the prvs message. Here's the tracklist if it helps:

101 - Cerise
102 - White
103 - Burgundy
104 - Cyan
105 - Green
106 - Turquoise
107 - Green
108 - Scarlet
109 - Mauve
110 - Grey
111 - Magenta

201 - Aqua
202 - Crimson
203 - Beige
204 - Amber
205 - Scarlet
206 - Lemon
207 - Orange
208 - Mauve
209 - Purple

CD2 is mixed.

I also found some tracks released on singles:

Red
Yellow
Blue
Pink
Lilac

...and some remixes of the lately released "Turquoise".

Eat: Dunno about samples, haven't heard the Gladiator Soundtrack, but it's a good track. Up there with "Perception".

I'll look around for "Perception" then :)

BTW Heard anything by Röyksopp? I heard "Eple" and it's quite interesting. Their album "Melody AM" was the album of the month in the october issue of UK's "Muzik".
