The way I find some tunes is simply amazing...
Paulmac ft. Peta Morris - Sound Of Breaking Up (Dark Alley Mix)
1.) I'm searching for Jason Jinx productions and find Vic 20 & Sinclair - Nikita (Jason Jinx Joystick Remix). 2.) I download the tune and notice it's incomplete. 3.) I search the net for details on this release and find out it was released with Polaris - Addicted (Powder Productions Remix), not sure whether it was a one vinyl release or a 12" double pack, but nevermind. 4.) I download the tune from Audiogalaxy just to notice it's incomplete as well. 5.) I search for both files again and find both Vic 20 and Polaris (the latter named something like this: NIKITA JASON JINX JOYSTICK MIX VIC POLARIS) and while Vic 20 is the same ol' tune I got earlier (though complete this time), Polaris sounds completely different. 6.) After some time (namely few days ago), after listening to the first downloaded 'Polaris' tune and hearing the only vocal there ends with 'This is the sound of breaking up' I think, what the heck, let's search for 'sound of breaking up' and see what happens. 7.) On top of the search results, I see 'Paulmac ft. Peta Morris - Sound of Breaking Up' and decide to download it (especially that I liked their previous single 'Just The Thing'). 8.) And surprise, surprise, I recognise the vocals, though the melody is competely different. 9.) So I search for remixes and since 'Dark Alley' fits perfectly well to the climate of the so-called-Polaris tune, I add this one to the queue. 10.) And presto: this barbarian has transformed a 4:58 incomplete Polaris 'Addicted (Powder Productions Remix)' to a 10:28 Paulmac ft. Peta Morris 'Sound of Breaking Up (Dark Alley Mix)' without affecting the melody line at all :)
'Sound of Breaking Up' is a great tune btw. I got the original, the Dark Alley Mix and L'More Remix and they're all very good.
And that's how my strangest search to date ended...
