First impressions on heroes 4!
I just gos h4 yesterday and I have played it all night since then.
The big BUG he has is the fact that he doesn't have the multiplayer option yet...they say that it will be added later as a patch or something ((
I started playing heroes first time in a multiplayer game.Like that I learned to play and in several hours I became a h3 player!
But now I have first to play the campaigns...usually I will ply them later after I know the game.
And I succeded still to play a hot seat game..the option is not in the multiplayer group like in h3 but is hidden somewere in the single player!
I have to admit that me and my friend Mefisto have to load the game some times because of the lost of new things..they even changed the way in witch they counted the numbers ..now only few is still the same..there are also dusins bands thousends and others!
I played with the necro..Is a damn good castel in offensive spells!
In one battle I cast some kind of poison witch I thing il last forever because I killed with one hero over 100 just by running away and letting the magic make his effect..they died one by one!
Another Great spell witch Mefisto used was regeneration witch regenerates 80 hit points eatch round!!!and also I thing it last until the end of battle!
Like that with one hero he killed 512 imps!!!!
only with the hero(it has 250 life) but still 512 imps?
and there are more I better post an topic I read somewere about anothers ...but here it is:No manual? Ok, call me a little old fashioned, but I enjoy having a manaul at my desk when firing up a new game. Now if there's something I need to refer to, I have to alt-tab out and check it out? Bullshit...
No multiplayer? Wtf is this? The whole darn reason I got the game was to play it multiplayer with my wife on her computer. My heart SANK when I read that there's no multiplayer. What fun is a game like this when you HAVE to play it by yourself?
Only ONE extra large map? Let me tell you folks, I haven't even TOUCHED the small or medium maps on the previous games. I strongly believe in sitting down with a cup of coffee and playing an all nighter.
No random map generator? What the hell were they thinking? Why on earth does 3DO think people bought the AB expansion pack? For the storyline? Give me a break...
All in all, I haven't even gotton the game yet, and it's already starting to piss me off that they left out my favorite features in the game. Had I known this, I would have wanted them to delay it for another few weeks. Hell, we waited for a few years, what's another few weeks? 3DO needs to pull their heads outta their asses, and stop trying to reinvent the wheel. But, until I actually play the game.......
I thing that says a lot.
But the game is NICE.
Now I'm wondering on what to do this week lay arena on h3 or play h4?
My copy isn't an original one so If I want the arena prize I have to work hard on those maps but my copi is ok for now ..anyway I can't play it on the net because I don't have a good conection so why bodher?
But Having one original is nice but again with all these bugs I really wonder If it really deserves!
Next week I intend to organize a h3(not h4) contest here in campus since h4 doesn't have the mp option !
But now I have to go to play but I'm not sure what:h3 or h4?
Is a hard decision!
