Well, maybe the might vs magic...
heros would be for different units...
but in general, I would say just the one

you see, the way I figure it, markmen, when in hand to hand, attack at 1/4 damage potential, but these longbowmen would be 1/2(w/ respect to the markmen), which is where the upgrade comes in ;ţ
(not to mention that master Gs actually *lose* damage by upgrading[when in hand to hand], not that it's a *bad* thing :ţ)

hmm... okay..
My brain is all foggy.

We better get another person oppinions here... or Behemoth's will do too.

I forgot what we were talking about here too...
well, ummm, the skill would affect just *one* unit of a town...
*but*, that isn't to say that all the units of each town can't have their own skill...

a skill for all creaures would be far to generic in its enhancing effects

oh, no panic...
but are you saying 1 skill per critter?

Yes, 1 per critter...
or more accurately, one per critter *level*...
trogs and infernal trogs would be covered by the same skill

and even my longbowmen would be covered under "archers"

btw, I'm having some slight difficulty connecting to ICQ at the moment, give it 5min, something about 'lagging' online w/ DSL, so annoying

that would mean a lot of skills...
what would make one pick one of these rather then Offence?

Well, i tried to give a general idea...
of what they would do...

the point would be, that only a specialty hero could get the 'like' skill, and that it would be a good investment if you were to have many of these units in your army

see, offense simply adds damage...
these would add oh, so much more
A/D, speed, ability

it would be a real challenge ot program each and every skill though *devlish :ţ*

okay...
so like a unique ability enhancer skill!

Yeah...
that way you can get some *real* benefit from the specialty...
