Artifacts II (PL)
Artifacts should more differ from each other (for example objects that increase the damage inflicted by certain damage spells could be different like in HoMM2: Evercold Icicle, Everhot Lava or Lightning Rod)
Some HoMM2 artifacts could return (Ankh, Heart of Fire, Heart of Ice, Compass)
Artifacts that give Expert in magic schools could appear (for example staffs... staff of Lightning, staff of Flame etc.)

Well...
Heart of Fire/Ice I don't remember, these are PoL artis, right?

but aren't Icicle and rest represented by the orbs?

"Artifacts that give Expert in magic schools could appear (for example staffs... staff of Lightning, staff of Flame etc.)"

those would be powefull artis indeed... I'd rather see Armageddon's Blade like artifacts. For instance the "Staff of Lightning" would give you the Lighningbolt spell, and you'd always cast it at Expert level (and maybe it should give whole/partial lightning immunity too.)

Yes, PoL artifacts...
one lets you deal twice more fire damage but receive twice more cold damage and the other has the opposite effect.

Yes, they are represented by the orbs but I thought it'd be cool if they differed from each other more.

Artifacts that casts spells at no cost or/and increased effectiveness are a good idea.

thought so...
well, we have the Battle Wands (cast one expert spell before combat).

I think these AB like Artis would make nice complements.

Great idea...
staffs would be great... kinda similar to Armor of the Damned in SoD, only less powerful.

*starts imagining*

Staff of Swiftness, Cursed Staff.... ;)

yup...
had it in a previous thread too...

"Artifacts" I think...

anyway, just like the A O Damned, these wands would cast one spell before combat. (one staff for every mass spell)
