I feel the same way...
Not as much anymore, since we have _some_ choices now.
But years 7-9 of school contained about half a year of usefull stuff.

in total about half a year you are right... they should just teach the usefull stuff then ... we would be out of school alot quicker..

You guys didn't get to pick your classes?
I mean, we had *some* required classes, like English and History and Science and Math, but there were also a lot of classes that we got to chose.
And like me, I was able to get my required classes out of the way by taking 2 classes in summer school and then my senior year I just went to college. And I still graduated with my senior class, and now I'm transfering to a larger college and I'll be a sophomore, right out of high school.

but it was all forced education in compulsory school. *shrug*
