Greetings Morthal...
never knew you were into bestiality :lol

Forgive the ignorance but what project are you working on?

I'm afraid I won't be able to help you out. The graphics I have are mostly HoMM3 artworks and sketches. I also found a ridiculous picture of the Behemoth in the Encyclopedia Mythica (www.pantheon.org) but believe me, you wouldn't want to see it ;)

Anywayz, I'll search around and if I find sth I'll let ya know.

In the meantime enjoy the lightest "Krewlodian" I have found (hidden deep in my caverns - noone drinks beer this light no more ;) )

*glurrk*..ahh thanks, that's refreshing.
I slowly recover from eating pig instead of dwarf, hehe.

Well, since a year I'm crafting 3D-levels with the free engine Genesis3D (www.genesis3d.com). The engine is 'state-of-the-art' and can easily be put in a row with the engines of Quake2, Unreal and other up-to-date 3D-games. But it has one weakness: the editor that you use to create the levels. After half a year I had to recognize that without vast programming you're only able to create 'dead' levels without being able to place a single monster inside, not to mention the cool effects that can be seen in the 'GDemo1' from them.

Then, six weeks ago, someone told me the URL of Rabid Games (www.rabidgames.com), that is a sinlge programmer, musician and allround-lunatic who, with the help of an other programmer, sets free the real might of the engine by programming all the needed modifications and adding these functions to the editor. Now I can use effects like smoke, flames, particles, rain, kind of texture distortion and much more. I got different possibilities to add sounds and I can place actors (animated monsters/animals, movable crates and such). The next update will contain the improved AI. You can create hostile and friendly actors then. And while learning and creating my 'RFDemo' I'm stressing their program to the max, discover bugs and submit my suggestions for more needed functions to improve the levels and to finally be able to make an entire game with it. They are impressed and powered by finally watching the results of their hard coding work, and lucky that someone tests all that on such a deep level, and I have the opportunity to submit my wishes that nearly all will be added in the following updates and I slowly feel like a designing god (higher demon would match better, hehe). Inventory system is planned too, and I will convince them to add multiplayer. I always have my 'Guild of the Burning Dwarf' in mind too, and when I finished that RFDemo and the multiplayer-thing works I will craft a smashing fantastic virtual guildhouse on a little surface level, where we can meet online, sit at a campfire with a burning dwarf slowly turning above, just walk through the level chatting and pleasing the eyes with all the stuff that I'll add. And of course there will be weekly events like a dwarf-chase where 30 dwarf-bots are spread around the level. Then the happy hunting starts and the one with the most kills will get a prize that he can store in the cabinet of the chamber that I crafted following his wishes. Okay, it's not just a short way to there, but I hope that it is near at the end of the year.

All who are interested now, can visit my (or better my other half Soulbox') '3D Sector' (www.gen3d.de) for further infos and more. If you just would like to see some screenshots of my work so far, go directly to my 'Designer's Diary' (www.gen3d.de/diary.html).

Wow, what a post, now I need a medium Krewlodian please.

Hell... I completely forgot about this topic...
Alright... I admit... I was too lazy to read it all. *grin*

Anywayz, it sounds great... will have to check out the Guild of the Burning Dwarf one day, when you implement the dwarfhunt *grin* (if my laziness will allow, that is)

*gives Morthal a medium mug of Krewlod ale*
